Anno Sucks

You might think I'm being anal about my new speed but man the anno really does suck. I meen just from screwing the barrely in and then out it is scratching the front of my speed. Who else has this problem? I bet everyone does. Man WDPs anno really really stinks.

Yes, the speed's anodizing isn't very good. Looks good, but isn't as durable as other guns I've seen. Nothing you can do about it except be careful. Re-anodize it if you're that worried.

I think all or most dust anno is easy to scratch though... But WDP's in particular is very easy...

yea thats true, a buddy of mine had a dust blue impy and you could scratch it by running your finger down it.... or so it seemed

I haven't had any problems or scratches on my speed yet. Its 3-4 weeks old and played about 5 times. But anytime i even work on it or do anything to it it is always on foam padding. i hold it tight to my chest when sliding so i dont see many scratches getting on this..

I don't get what you are talking about? Ball Dedenants? Are you talking about Ball detents? And what are you talking about using a quarter?

my detents are scratched a little from nickles, and the area under the screws that hold the body to the space frame have the anno worn off from the screw heads. Also, the body is scratched where the barrel touches just a little. I am not worried at all about this, as the scratches are all covered by something else, except the detent ones.

ok....BONES, im gonna say this once, YOU ARE ALWAYS LOST. Atleast from the post that i have read made by u. The ball detenants (sp?) on the outside there is a screw slot. They reccomend that u use a coin of some kind to tighten/loosen the cover. From using a qurter some has rubbed off!

i've seen gloss mini regs get faded to the point of almost no nno on it any more
just from holding it :sshh:

Yea, I JUST got my Angel Speed tonight, not but an hour and a half ago. I've screwed the barrel in and out twice and its already scratching. I'm being careful and alot softer when screwing it in.

Yeah I think everybody get scratches where they screw in their barrel.

yeah, i have some little wear on the anno from the barrel. then marks also from the ball detents when i tightened them. but hey we get it to kick arse, and look nice while doing it. as long as its still kickin arse, no need to worry.lol

can you get it re annodized in colors besides the dust? cuz if the dust scratches that much im gonna change it.

Yea, once mine starts getting bad, I'll probably go with a nice blue that stays on 0_o
