ay folks,
i was tryin to take apart my evo2 and when i took out all the screw the 2 sides wouldnt come off, its like they wer glued...are they? i wanna dye my hopper but u cant do that if the parts are together..thank ya

Make sure the lid is off, and all screws are removed (Double check). You may need to carefully pry them apart.

no they aren't glued, they are pressed together very tightly tho.....it does take a little effort. I've had mine apart multiple times.

make sure the battery door is open too. mines a paint to get off but i stick my hand inside and make a first pushing the sides apart from the inside and i have to take a small knife and kinda froce the shell apart at the neck by puttin it in the crack next to that front screw. hope that helps.

I had same problem too. I took out all the screws, lid and battery door, but still couldnt get them apart. I didnt want to pull harder for fear of snapping something.

hmm, i have a black egg, and i tried to die my lid blue with RIT, and after 2-3 hours, it hadnt even tinted

Certain plastics just won't take a dye.
