My buddy asked me to take his old Z frame LED down to the WC next week to see if the techs can work on it. I said sure, "no problem" and he hands a bag instead of a gun. Its all in pieces.

Will I be laughed out of the tent or will they actually work on this thing?

If they have the time they will probably work on it since it's there product. First of all what needs to be put back together? After you leave the tent they will probably laugh.

Awesome.

They worked on my LED a few events ago for free, but it was pretty simple maintenance.

WDP's tech booth at NPPL and similar events are really designed for those completing in said event. While WDP and the techs are extremely generous in providing everyone with repairs, an LED in a bag is overboard. World Cup is the busiest event of the year (on many fronts ; ) Repairs of this nature should be taken/sent to a service center.

Yeah, thats about what I thought. Well, my IR3 needs maintenance so that will keep them busy instead.
