There are forums (motorcycle forums seem to do it a lot) that have people put in $5 into the pot to cover the cost of the prize and keep the site running. This wouldn't be such a bad idea here, instead of solely putting the financial burden on the sponsors.

I have my students scores. No 5s, a few 4s, a bunch of 3s and more than half 1's and 2's. I was not happy with the lack of study habits all year so I wasn't surprised. I'm gearing up for next year already!
