Effects of not having a ball dente.

Today I lost my dente some time and I didn;t know I lost it during the day. All I knew was that It was chooping and double feeding. What are some effects of not having a ball dente?

Also what do I need to fix it?

If you dont use a ball detent ninjas will be dispatched within 48 hours to kick your shins and give you indian burns. Once you are incapacitated from the physical abuse an intelligence officer from Kingman Intl. will take advantage of your weak emotional state by employing the "i've got your nose" trick, psychologically cracking you. He will then tell you to buy a Spyder because they are far superior to Angels, you will believe his rhetoric.

The moral, use a detent.

Ohhh man poo, you are a crack up.
Also I noticed that when I was about to start a string, i would pull the trigger once and no aire would come out then after that one it would work fine, I will do a test on the forms to bring this up. I know i saw this a ways back.

sorry about the humor, I couldn't leave it alone.

Sometimes, a faulty ball detent (stuck, sticking or weak spring) will be the root cause of the "mystery" chopping and barrel breaks. I've chased those down after going through everything else first. Talk about getting frustrated for something so simple.

Im not sure how the detent missing could cause the first trigger pull to release no air...
Whether it does or not, it wont matter since the plethora of other problems it causes (double feed, inconsistency, barrel breaks, inefficiency, just to name a few) will certainly ruin your day. The only solution: get another detent, if you think this might be a recurring problem, buy a backup.
If i were you I would try out that new cobra indestruct detent, that thing sounds pretty cool.
Not having the greatest day with your ir3 huh?
