the age of the hydro test on angel air

ok i recently recieved an angel air from my brother...the hydro date is somethin 01...now what i wanna know does the hydro test last 5 years or 3 years...im hearin all kinds of crap but i dunno which one is true...thanx for all ur help

it's likely a 3, but is given a 5 year from the first hydro after if it falls under the correct DOT number.

if it was done before a certain date it has to be hydro'd at the 3 year point, and then every 5 years after that. If it was made after said date it is a 5 year tank now based on the tests performed according to DOT.
