I traded for a 2k3 LCD and on the minireg happened to be a macroline thingy/connector. I have tried to get it off but I cant get it to budge. Are there any tricks to updoing loctite? And that little sucker is really on tight.

He mostly likely used red loctite 271 on the fittings. That's a very permanent solution. I'm surprised you got it off with brute force because all screws that i haven;t heated before unscrewing ending up with either a stripped screw or a stripped allen wrench.

The easiest way to liquify the 271 is to get a propane or acetyline blowtorch for $9 or $10 at a local hardware store. Blast that sucker, wipe off the char and unscrew with ease.
