Currently run a PE 68ci 4500psi tank. Will the recharge rate be fine? I'm kindof skeptical...

I dont see why.......I used a centerflag 68/45 on mine untill I got angel air and it worked fine with the preset.

Not for me. I normally use a 45/45 armageddon and have to switch to a PE 68/3000 when 4500 air fills are not available. There is a noticeable difference in shot to shot consistency and efficiency. I only use the preset when I have to, if you don't mind the random bad shot you'll be okay.

Pure Energy's suck

their regs are horrible.

I am using a 68/4500 Centerflag preset....its just money...honestly...296 295 295 im not kidding.

oh yeah....crossfires or centerflag presets will do you well, the pure energy tanks are horrible they have tested their output pressure and sometimes its up at 1000psi.

My understanding of an inline reg: Regulate higher pressure down to the guns operating peressure. As far as I know the secondary reg will still have inconsistencies because of its source, the preset reg. The random shots seem to occur more often when shooting rapidly.
I would say every 3rd or fourth ball was way off, otherwise I had about 12 to 14 inch groupings(which ain't the greatest.). I also had velocity problems at the chrono, WAY TOO HIGH, barely got it under 300 fps. And before everybody jumps on the, "maybe your gun wasn't tuned properly," bandwagon, Yes it is, my gun worked fine in the morning when I used my geddon.
Re: AAAWWW CRUD
You can always buy another preset reg, I hear good things about centerflag, and nitro duck.

Ya, Crossfire and Centerflag > PE

Pure Energy regs have been tested to output sometimes from 900-1kpsi. You're better off with Centeflag or Crossfire preset that outputs at 800-850
