What kinda puter does everybody have and what kinda connection do you have (dial-up, DSL, cable, ect...)?

I have a Dell 8250
2.5 P4
512 ram
60gig HD
HUGE WOOFER
DVD-R
128 nVIDEA

also Dell Inspiron 8200
P3 256ram

and i got dial-up

i have a dell dimension desktop 4500s
not sure about the internal goodies,
it's a pentium 4 w/ windows xp
15" flat screen monitor
my inhouse server network, 6 computers
cable internet
altec surround sound system w/ built in speakers into my fake leather computer chair, it's a complete movie experience

80 gb hard drive
ati radeon all in wonder 9700 pro
soundblaster audigy 2
logitech z-540? speakers
sony dvd rom
plextor 48x cdrw
temp controls, water cooling....
cable internet

Im getting a IBM t-40 WITH A 80 GIG hd, 512 MEGS OF RAM, DVD DRIVE, 802.11A/B internal wireless modem(centrino). Some other stuff, with software already lodaed, like solid works, and some other stuff. For school of course.


EDIT: It has a 1.6 pentium M

it gets me through the day.......and makes Warcraft 3 look awesome!!!!!
I'm using Road Runner, but it's been pretty slow the last couple months, I'm constantly calling to complain about my speeds.

i got a good ole compaq ADM 400mhz and like 7GB of mem, and a good ole 128MB of Ram

yeah, its real nice its got like 3.0ghz at 800mhz, 512mb of Ram (might even be more, not for sure) like 80 gb of mem, and a good graphics card, so i should be able to play any game and the games wont lag

mines a custom build but its a couple years old. 1.2 gigs amd cpu, athelon or I will or somthing like that mother board i think, 80 gb hd i dont remmeber the other stuff..... It works for me and all my gaming purposes though just fine. Oh yeah, and a kick ass speaker system connected to my stereo and a 19 " monitor. DSL.

is that geforce 4 card pretty good, cuz i want to get C&C Generals but you need a awesome comp and a good video card to run it, and has anyone played this game, if so, how was it

I have played the game. My friends have it on there comp. I dont know what the requirments are but i know its a cool game. It has awesome graphics and some cool stuff. Also, if your soldier is wounded he will actually limp. you can zoom in on him and see this.
