I shot my first LED today and it was a very nice experience to say the least(definitely better than my IR3 experience). What I want to know is what I can expect to pay for a stock 99 LED? I know they tend to run in the $500-$700 range, but most are modified..... I'm wanting bone stock. Thanks.

I had a stock 99 except for an SS hammer, however for the last month I have been working on it and upgrading it. Just like LED guy says look around. I have seen LED's go for 475-500 with some upgrades. I am def. in love with my LED and i dont think i will ever switch to another angel unless it is an LED.

Yea, thats what I was afraid of. Basically I'm trying to go completely stock to prove to all the "paintball ricers"(ask me if ya wanna know what I'm talking about)that a stock gun is fine.

I know what you mean by paintball ricers...LOL
a sticker won't give you 15whp, or an extra 10fps/bps, is that what you mean? LOL
I think in that case the LCD is really a great bank for the buck in performance and a tad more efficient than the LED. Parts sourcing is easier for the LCD, just something to consider. It does have the "pretty" LCD screen, but it does have some useful features.

If I could find an LCD(no concern for year) for the same price as an LED, or someone who wanted a highly modified 98 cocker and some cash, I would. But for now, a nice LED is all I can really afford.

you mean the DYE sticker on the side of the gun doesn't get me an extra elimination???

Phython you can pick up LCDs for cheap now becaue of the ir3 like in the 600-700 range you jsut have to look around PBC has some PBN and of course AOG :D

The way some fields are run, it just might actually get you an elimination, depending on who you thought you hit.

but yea, I know, I've seen 2k1s and even 2k2s(Black 2k2s are my favorite cosmetically) go for under $700, but I gotta have money for air and other things. But if anyone wants a shnazzy cocker and a sevenstring guitar, I might be in luck.

lcd's are easier to find stock and can find them on ebay pretty fast, LED's are still very rare on the stock side, you are gonna have to go into pbnation and pbreview forums to try to find one, ebay doesnt sell them usually stock, i did see 1 though about 2 weeks ago, it only went for $400.00 if i had extra cash i would have bought it

My dark LED is still 100% stock. and it was just tuned at Warped Sportz last week. Still has the metric threaded mini-reg too.

Buy one that's close, then put out a post for the parts you need.
Nearly everyone changes things, and all tinkerers are packrats.
I'll bet some would send you stuff if you just paid for the postage.
I know lots of people who've got old guns they haven't shot in years, I could only imagine the piles of original parts stuck away in boxes. "I know I'll need this sh!t someday, maybe build my own gun from scratch" Gimmee a break......

I just bought an almost completely stock 99 LED for $400 shipped. All it had was a volumizer and a low rise on it. I think i got a pretty good deal, but i have big upgrading plans for my angel. I hope you can find a good deal too.
