Why are they just in the banner rotation and not in the sponsors part of the web site? Does that cost extra or somthing?

so does this site make money from the sponsers and pay the mods??

As it has been stated several time before, the Mods are not paid. As for where the money for any 'sponsorship' for the site, I am sure it all goes to the costs of maintanence of the site, which is not cheap I'm sure.

vBulletin software, webhosting, bandwith. All of those things are covered by the sponsors. I think it would be a good idea to update the sponsor section with the appropriate sponsors.
