This is a picture of the software that may be released as early as next week. No word on an official date yet .. but this will give you an idea of what you can do with your palm pilots and your Ir3's.

Does it interact with the marker thru the IR port, or are there cables that would need to be bought? Like the data link.

WDP stated that it was being tested thuroughly one last time before it was released. So it should be any time. They just got back today from the IAO from what i understand and AC is this weekend so maybe next week we will have more to tell?

What's that "gun format" option I see?
Does that mean IR3 users can unlock those other 25+ modes now? That will make some people happy...

he did state that the board on the ir3's still wont allow the full auto. But it will let you try and just say access denied or something like that ... so im afraid not.

Woah, there tiger... cool down what happened was that the astm's rule... is that full auto ect is not allowed, the USA gov... alows this, however wdp decided to step in with astm and only alow semi..... and it's been going around that if other compaines dont follow suit, you'll get your auto..... but i for one, have an lcd, got a new board and guess what... Mr.Rocketscientist, they only activated SEMI, mode B, 1 pull 1 ball, like what you have.... and all that talk about illegaliness..........bequiet
and if your really dissatisfied BRING IT BACK......i bet it will be the only customer ever that was disatisfied with and angel..

Anybody else ever notice how LCD owners always have a strong opinion about this ?
IR3's will get unlocked one way or the other just like the LCD was.:D

Hey is it true that more companies are complying with ASTM..? I heard that now the new Bob Long Intimidators are now only Semi... Cause if that is true seems like we might never see ther other modes on our IR3. I for one do not care if we get 'em causeI can shoot like am MANIAC! ViVa IR3.

Just though some of you may be interested in what it looks like, still putting it through the test stages. Everything seems to work great so far.

The version I have been testing works with 3.0 and up.
I seem to be having a little problem with OS 4.1.
But I am not certain if it is the program or my palm yet.
I'll soon figure it out.

Hi, I'm new to this message board and just recently bought my IR3. Just wondering if the Palm software is going to work on my Palm Vx?
Also, quickly on another subject. I read an earlier post that said he was running his output at 450 psi. I was told it needed to be about 600-700. Any comments on this. And will lowering output psi to 450 make the marker run a lot more efficiently (i.e., is the difference significant)?

Im new to the IR3 and it on its way to canada i just ordered this marker cause i got to have a new toy , I've Never played with an Angel before.
the Question i have is was the compatability is it a Mac or PC only or both.
do we downloads from the internet or what hows does it work. is there going to be a bible size instructions comming with it ????

It would be nice if WDP would allow players to have the choice of enabling the other modes if they wish. To me, it's fun to play around with the other modes, you know part of the angel mystique

I dunno. I just tried the sw on a Palm IIIx I borrowed from work...it says "old serial manager" when I try to send/receive
click ok, and you get "FATAL ERROR" Fatal Exception and a big reset button.
this is with s/w 3.1.1
sigh..
oh well, it didn't let me unlock modes, and it doesn't allow me to upgrade to COPS2.
It is cool to be able to adjust settings I suppose, but I've got my IR dialed in pretty good and I never mess with the settings.
